Illinois State Police (ISP) Troop 1 Commander, Captain Joseph Blanchette, announces the results of Nighttime Enforcement (NITE) patrols in Ogle, Whiteside and Winnebago County during February. Authorities believe the suspect stole Hintts silver Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with Illinois license plate CT92923. For the last 15 hours the Belvidere Police Department has been investigating the death of Andrew Hintt, 31, Belvidere, two sons 5 and 7 years old. The construction work will result in lane closures, affecting inbound and outbound traffic. We made some snapshots of the season thats now wrapping up. The incident happened Sunday night at 628 Union Ave. Police said that they were called to the home around 9:45 p.m., which is when the discovery was made.
